Seize (vampire slayer Yugioh fanfic)

After reading a great fanfic on YUGIOH…

Seize:

The sun set at Magan and the whole block was dimmed, lacking enough electrical support to lighten the deserted streets at night. A teenage girl was courageously treading the hollow area, vociferously whistling, and uncaringly moving through the dark.

“A nice night for a stroll, eh?” A male voice chuckled behind her ears.

“Yes, it’s a nice night for you too.” Her amethyst eyes gazed over her intruder. “Do you have friends?”

“Actually…” Twenty guys stepped out of the shadows and widely smiled to show their fangs. “I do, slayer. Would like to be one of my companions?”

“Thanks for the invitation.” She crouched. “But I decline.” And avoided one of her attackers attack.

“Then, die slayer.”

“I also don’t like that option.” She smiled, pulled out two silver daggers and lunged for the leader.

The fight raged on, as two dark figures watched the scene below from one of the towering buildings.

“She’s a skilled one, isn’t she?”

“Let our Lord decide on that.”

“Where did you get these pawns?”

“Some notorious group threatening our community.”

“I’m glad there gonna die. If our fledglings got caught by these men, they’re grime.”

“Don’t worry yourself the slayer wont let any of them live.”

“Which one of them has the serum?”

“Everyone has that in their system.”

“Not taking any chances eh?”

“Always a step ahead.”

The battle below ended and every cadaver disintegrated to the air, as the teenage girl staggered backward, tried to move away and kneeled a few feet far from it.

“You’ve done quite well slayer.” The dark figure appeared in front of her.

“We would like to express our gratitude that is why you are invited to our lord’s quarters.” The other one stated.

“…Damn…” the girl slurred then her fell forward as she was caught by a pair of tanned hands.

“My Lord! My Lord!” a tanned female roused, running across the Main lobby filled with ancient vampires.

“Speak.” The Master Vampire of the coven, Atem, ordered as he sat firmly in his throne. His crimson eyes intently watching Ishizu as she made her report.

“My Lord,” The raven brunette bowed in front of him. “Messieurs Bakura and Marik have possession over a female slayer.”

“That is not possible it is against the rules of our coven to bring an enemy in our sacred premises!” the Master Vampire’s second in command, Seth , reacted. “They must be apprehended at–!”

The Master Vampire’s single gesture stopped his second from speaking any further.

“Our Lord will have a word with them in private. Let them proceed at the Chambers of the Coven’s Council along with their heretic.” He firmly stated, fully knowing their Lord’s actions.

“So as it was ordered, so shall it be done.” Ishizu dismissed herself.

After all that was said the Master Vampire walked out of the room.

/Bakura and Marik caused another commotion for me to handle./ The Lord sighed in thought as he headed towards the chambers.

“Hey, you have quite a catch here, Marik.” His young twin Malik snickered eyeing the sleeping form of the female slayer in his twin’s arms. “Are you going to keep her as a pet?”

“More or Less.” Bakura grinned.

“Or you have other plans?” Malik evilly grinned.

“Don’t do that. You’ll look more like him.” Bakura warned Malik.

“Yeah, except I can’t imitate his insane laugh or the things he does with his tongue.” Malik teased.

“Stop it you two.” Marik commented, muttering about not being able to punch the two because of the slayer he’s carrying.

“Look! He actually became sane.” Bakura continued.

“I swear I’ll–”

“I’ll have your heads for this. Why did you bring her here?” Atem strolled in.

“Well the first reason is to have her as a pet more or less.” Malik beamed at Atem. They knew that when they are out of the Royal Court, they can treat him informally.

“Care to elaborate this?” Atem raised an eyebrow at looked at both of the culprits.

“It’s a prank we want to play our ancient ghouls who still believe on dead laws.” Marik shrugged.

“Those ancient ghouls, you speak of, are our elders and they must be treated with respect.” Atem retorted.

“Come off it! These rules are choking me and so are the new fledglings it’s the 2nd Millennia for God sakes!” Bakura fumed.

“Hey don’t say that bad word in these premises!” Malik cringed.

“I’ll damn say why I want. G-O-D, God!” Bakura thundered.

“Fine, I get your point. Some of our laws are… outdated.” Atem stated. “Still we must respect our old beliefs its part of our great ancestry.”

“Part of you great ancestry, my ass. You lifeless beings are against any natural law set by God.” The female slayer weakly respond, still in Marik’s arms

“Oh no, not that word again.” Malik winced as if he’s ears were in physical pain. “Make them stop.”

“I would kill you say you know, though our laws say otherwise.” Bakura stated, rolling his eyes.

“Hold your tongue you forget your place.” Marik calmly informed her.

“Odd isn’t it? Marik’s becoming sane in every second.” Bakura commented ignoring the female.

“I maybe your prisoner, but I will never yield.”/Not yet until I avenge them./ She held her strong gaze on the vampires, though to them it was pretty comical of her.

They were quite amused since its either great stupidity or pride to challenge anyone especially if you are held captive. They choose the former except Atem, who tends to give people more credit that they deserve.

“Then little one, you will not mind me asking why it is so.” Bakura taunted.

“Why do you believe were the bad guys and not the other way around?” Malik derided.

“You and your kind wantonly murdered my whole kin.” She muttered.

“Ok, maybe some of us are bad, the same thing goes for you mortals too, you know.” Malik generalized. “How are you sure that some mortals do not wantonly kill us too.”

“Do not try fool me, vampire. I know it was your kin you bore the same marks.” She seethed unable to control her emotions. /I have to take this easy or else I’ll lose it./

“My marks?” Malik looked at his arms, he was sure that the marks he only have was the scorched Egyptian script on his back but how was she able to know that if he was wearing his usual hooded sleeveless top. “Ok nice trick.”

“I said do not coy with me, slatr!” She hissed.

“Old words to be spoken by a female slayer. Who are you?” Atem demanded.

“Vpir! Slatr! Deyja slatr!” She raged as struggling on Marik’s grip as she her rage consumed her reason. “Deyja Vpir! Vencidare!”

“Curses won’t get you anywhere, little one.” Bakura sneered.

“Promittere mina Vpir Ultimus!” She cried before she slumped back.

“Ok, What was she saying?” Malik asked thinking the girl was suddenly possessed.

“Did you know all about this?” Atem inquired. “Did you know that she is–”

“Yes, it was one of the reasons we took her.” Marik notified.

“You knew this and you still brought her here!” Atem riled.

“Lighten up. We are the only ones who know this.” Bakura appeased.

“Knew what? She’s what?” Malik looked from one face to another.

“She’s a descendant of every race we were against with.”

“You mean she’s a–” Malik’s eyes widened.

“Don’t say it! That forbidden word has been our curse for the past millenia!” Bakura quickly clamped Malik’s mouth.

“Why?” Malik pried Bakura’s hand off of his mouth.

“The difference of a bad word and a forbidden word is that the forbidden word might activate the ancient spells long forgotten in this place.” Marik explained.

“It is one of the dangers of living with our traditions.” Atem commented and then strolled away. “Make sure that you’ll keep a good watch on her.” /Hrjóða, I didn’t expect that there were survivors./

“It’s late and she’s still not here.” Ryou, a pale skinned teen with white hair and brown eyes, stated.

“Hush. She’s always late.” Hana, a teen with silver hair and emerald eyes replied.

“But she hadn’t contacted me since her last battle.” Ria, a teen with golden blonde hair and hazel eyes said. “She must be in deep trouble.”

“She knows the drill. If she gets left behind she’ll find a way on her own.” Hana ordered as she treaded home followed by Ria and Ryou.

“Hope you’re ok, Laine.” Ryou whispered to the wind and continued to follow the two.

Laine…

A familiar voice was weakly heard. /Ryou?/ She felt the binds I her limbs as she struggled to sit up. She was left alone in a bedroom somewhere. /Hmph, I am not going to be anyone’s slave./ She started to mutter a chant.

“Frangere.” Was the only word she said out loud as her bonds broke. /I would not waste this opportunity. I’ll have to find that Master Vampire./ She were actually conscious when the vampires were inspecting her earlier from the chamber as she waited for a right chance to see their Lord. The faint was also a fake so they wouldn’t bother to blindfold her when they lock her up in a room.

/Bakura’s room eh?/ She looked for any kind of weapon in the cabinets and drawers. /Figures, he would kept it hidden./ While looking for any king=d of tool she also took some new clothes to disguise herself later. /Servant’s uniform. Ironic, isn’t?/ She managed to smile as she put on the suit. Oddly enough it fitted her well. /That guy never wore these things./

After inspecting the whole room and finding a pair of daggers under the bed, she headed out the hallway and walked with ease, remembering where the Chamber of the Coven’s Council was. When she got inside the deserted room she headed for the way the Lord went and saw a dimmed hallway with one door on the other side. /Very tricae./

After taking a few steps the hallway’s traps were activated as she tried to dodge everything thrown to her. /A password might help./ She thought as she lunged forward before the floor could swallow her into the abyss. /I’m not even halfway there and I’m exhausted?!/ She complained in thought as her breathe turned into pants. /There is a way out of this. Calm down./ She grumbled as she stopped from her tracks and closed her eyes.

“Tricae stuppare! After calling out those words the time seemed to cease as everything in the hallway stop on its tracks even in mid air. /Ok that was easy./

She walked away avoiding every ruse on the hallway and headed for the other door, which gave way to a circular room adjoining 18 hallways and each hallway has another door on its end. /I might be trapped here for a while./

“You let a slayer into this place! Have your minds lost it?!” Seth raged, pacing left and right in the lounge.

“Technically, they don’t have anything in their minds to loose.” Malik snickered, sitting in a maroon settee in Marik’s arms.

“Chill dude, she’s in our capable hands.” Bakura smirked, sitting comfortably in a raven black leather divan.

“That’s what I’m afraid of.” Seth groaned, putting his hands in his temple.

“Come on, trust us.” Bakura shrugged.

“You’re–pf–making it… worst.” Malik laughed, clutching his sides.

“What? You really don’t believe we can handle a slayer like her?” Marik asked his twin, who apparently couldn’t stop laughing about the situation.

“There are three reasons: one she’s a good warrior; second she’s a descendant of our ancient enemy and third she’s a slayer! Don’t you get it if you let your guard down she’ll destroy our domain!” Seth continued pacing to and fro.

“Dude, calm down. ”

A/N: Having Ishtar twins are so cool. I used the Ouran theme of the Hitachiin twins because I like that kind of brotherly love.
